Please  read Terms and Conditions of Sale Carefully:

Nalah TM Items are sold separately (Frames / Inserts and Handles) – Create your own complete bag by choosing your own Frame / Insert and Handles in our different categories on our shop / product section and Create your bag section.

Delivery and Collection Policy:

  1. Nalah TM Bags and Accessories Pty Ltd offers door to door courier Delivery services.
  2. Your Order will be processed within **1 Business day after payment has been received in our bank account (Orders will not be processed on weekends or public holidays) Orders are processed within working hours only. If orders are placed and paid after hours – it will only be processed the next business day when payment is received. Your order will be sent out 24 Hours after being processed.
  3. Your Order should reach you within 2-7 business days after being dispatched, depending on your delivery area- Outlaying areas may take longer. Weekends are excluded.
  4. Parcels are delivered on weekdays between 8h00 and 17h00.
  5. Delivery/Courier costs are for your own account at a flat rate of R99
  6. Collection in Polokwane – Please make an appointment. ***Allow 1 Business day for processing your order. If paying via manual EFT your order will only be processed once funds have cleared in bank account. Collections only during weekdays and specific times only. Take note: ***Usual pickup times are from 14h00 daily unless otherwise arranged beforehand.
  7. Own Courier – Please ***allow 1 business day for processing your order after payment is received or once funds have cleared in our bank account. contact us  for collection details. Usual pickup times are from 14h00 daily.
  8. Tracking – You will receive a tracking number via email once your order is dispatched.

EXCHANGES / RETURNS / REFUNDS AND DEFECTIVE ITEMS

Exchange Policy:

  1. Exchanges -If Nalah Bags have delivered the incorrect product to you,  please notify us within 7 days of receiving this item Email to : nalahqualitycontrol@gmail.com
  2. Exchanges will only be processed once all information is received via our Quality Control Department. (Date of Purchase/ Description of purchase / Images of incorrect product etc)
  3. Nalah bags will not exchange incorrect sizing purchased of our handbags. Sizing charts and descriptions are available throughout our page. Images are also on each product of the shop for sizing indications. Contact us for additional sizing information. Images are also available for indication purposes to see our sizing.
  4. Please keep product in its original packaging.
  5. Once items are received at our premises and confirmed that the items were unused and still in the original packaging  we will dispatch the correct items to you at our cost.
  6. Items will be inspected by our quality control department.
  7. Once items have been inspected and confirmed the items are in the original condition they were sent and confirmed that incorrect items have been sent to you we will then process the exchange.
  8. Exchanges may take between 7-10 Working days depending on inspection / packing / processing and Courier services.
  9. In the event that items are out of stock, you may choose a different item at the same price, if the price differs from the original product – (If items are more expensive you will have to pay the balance and if the price is less than original price we will refund you the difference)
  10. If you have purchased from one of our Stockists – Please contact them directly (stockists will have their own returns or exchange policy – this will not be part of the Head Office Policy)
  11. Returns and exchanges are only valid for customers that have purchased directly from head office via our Website or directly from our owner Lindie Heystek. If Items are defective or damaged please refer to the below:
  12. Discounted / On Sale items and Black Friday Sale items are not eligible for refunds / returns or exchanges unless the items are faulty or defective which we would need to be notified once you have received your item or within the times stipulated above.

Damaged and Defective Items:

  1. If you receive a damaged/faulty or factory defective item, please notify us in writing immediately or within no later than 7 days of delivery (nalahqualitycontrol@gmail.com) or contact us
  2. Please include all your details such as order number/ date of purchase and also clear images of the defective goods.
  3. Products will only be replaced if received damaged or if they have a factory defect or fault.
  4. Our Quality control department will inspect the items once they have been received.
  5. Items will not be replaced or exchanged if they were in any way damaged or tampered with.
  6. Products will only be replaced with the same or equivalent or value product that was originally purchased.
  7. If you choose a different item which is not equivalent in product or value to the original item you will be liable for the difference.
  8. Products will not be replaced if the damage was caused by wear and tear or cared for incorrectly. This includes Frames / Inserts and All Genuine leather items incl Synthetic or rope handles. On every order we sent out we include care instructions and also advise customers to read our FAQ and Terms and Conditions on this website.
  9. Genuine Leather Flaws (Flaws may contain stitching / scratches /marks / threads / healed scars  / cracks and sometimes in colour. This is due to real leather that is  a natural product  and in fact an animal’s skin and will display traces of the animal’s past life.  Please read our FAQ for all information. Leather to be correctly cared for – Refer to FAQ.
  10. Please refer to our FAQ for all care instructions of all the products. 
  11. If your Frame was exposed to high temperatures or heat sources and your bag shape is lost- we can unfortunately not be exchanging your item- REFER TO FAQ and  Care Instructions.
  12. Your Frame will not be replaced if you have neglected care instructions.
  13. If a product is out of stock. you may choose a different item.  (If items are more expensive you will have to pay the balance and if the price is less than original price we will refund you the difference)
  14. Discounted / On Sale items and Black Friday Sale items are not eligible for refunds / returns or exchanges unless the items are faulty or defective which we would need to be notified once you have received your item or within the times stipulated above.

REFUNDS:

Exchanges and Refunds for non defective and faulty items:

  1. Nalah TM bags wants you to be completely satisfied  with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, please contact us : nalahqualitycontrol@gmail.com    contact us    within 5 days of receiving your order in terms of section 16 of the CPA Act (Section 16 of the Act specifies that a consumer who has signed or agreed on the website as a result of direct marketing has the right to rescind the transaction by notice to the supplier within 5 business days of goods delivered/ paid and transaction was concluded) Refunds will not be eligible after 5 business days cooling off period.
  2. Please send all information – Date of purchase / Order / Payment method.
  3. Always  keep the items in their original condition and packaging.
  4. Items need to be sent back to Nalah bags at your cost.
  5. Nalah bags reserves the right to refuse any exchange of refund if the original condition is not met. If the items have been used or damaged we reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange.
  6. Items will be inspected by our quality control department.
  7. You may choose to exchange your items for another item(If items are more expensive you will have to pay the balance and if the price is less than original price we will refund you the difference)
  8. If you choose not to choose another item – We will refund you the full amount of your order and shipping cost when all the above requirements have been met, if all requirements not met we will not be able to do your refund.
  9. This is only valid for Retail customers and not stockists or resellers.
  10. Any Refunds may take between 7-10 working days depending on payment method.
  11. Refunds and Exchanges will only be processed once the products have been received at Nalah Bags Head Office and in its original and New condition and packaging.
  12. Gift Cards are not refundable or exchanged for cash
  13. Discounted / On Sale items and Black Friday Sale items are not eligible for refunds / returns or exchanges unless the items are faulty or defective which we would need to be notified once you have received your item or within the times stipulated above.

Payment Options:

  1. Payfast – The Ultimate online payment solution.  Payfast offers Credit and Debit Card payments.
  2. Payfast is committed to keeping information secure. Payfast has a multitude of checks in place to protect buyers and sellers from fraudulant transactions. When paying with this payment method- your items will be dispatched immediately without any delays. (Always allow 1 business day for processing)
  3. Manual EFT Option– Please take note that Nalah bags do not process orders until payment cleared in our bank account. Items cannot be reserved without payment or Proof of Payment. Items will not be reserved if immediate payments are not done or if you havent sent us a Proof of Payment. Our system will automatically  cancel the order if payments are not received within 24-48 Hours. Your orders will only be sent out 1 Business day after payment reflects in our bank account, this allows for packing and preparing your handbag for delivery.
  4. TAKE NOTE: IF Manual EFT payments are made on weekends and after hours and it is a regular payment it will only reflect the next business day after 19h00. Always allow enough time for us to process your order.

    IMPORTANT: When manual EFT’s are done, stock can not be reserved and if another order is placed for the same item and instant payment or card payment is received by another customer it will go to the first PAID customer. Please ensure Proof of Payment is sent immediately to reserve items or within 24Hours after your order is placed. Items will be reserved if Proof of Payment is emailed. We will advise to do immediate payments to ensure your stock is reserved and cannot be purchased by another customer. If you send a Proof of payment once order is placed we can still reserve stock but without payment or Proof of payment your items are unreserved.

Stock Availability on Website:

All Stock is subject to availability.

This is an e-commerce store and orders are placed during all hours of the day and may not always be updated immediately or automatically.

In some cases stock updates are done during the day and items that are ordered for popular /low stock- and SALE/ DISCOUNTED items it may not be available. We will inform customers if this is the case. We will also notify customers if items are on back order.

Stock and Create your bag function – On create your bag the stock is not updated automatically – This is done manually during the day when items are sold out or not available any longer. We will notify customers once an item is no longer available and you will be offered a similar or different item.

SALE ITEM AVAILABILITY:

Sale Items are last of a product and very limited stock. Availability of Sale item stock is not guaranteed. Head office will advise if your item is not available and will offer you a refund or a replacement during the course of the day you placed your order.

 

CARE INSTRUCTIONS OF ALL NALAH TM ITEMS:

FRAME OF THE NALAH BAG

Our EVA  Vinyl Frames may be wiped off with a wet sponge or cloth with some sunlight liquid / handy Andy.

Nalah bags are a fashion accessory designed to carry small lightweight items. The maximum recommended load of the bag is 2kg. Do not overload your bag with heavy objects. This will cause damage to your Frame / Insert and also your handcrafted leather handles.

Do not expose your EVA Vinyl bag to high temperatures and sun rays for extended periods of time.

Avoid direct and indirect sunlight.

Do not leave your handbag in high temperatures in your vehicle.

Exposing your Nalah Bag to the above points and heat sources —-This WILL alter the shape of your bag***

The Bag is not suitable for carrying open liquid containers, hot or sharp objects or even chemicals.

Do not dry your bag in a microwave or any heat source and open fires.

Do not wash the Frame in your washing machine. Only with a wet cloth or sponge.

Our Handbags are from a Italian-Inspired design.

FRAME of the Original Nalah TM bag is made from Eco Friendly EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) VINYL . Our Frames are high quality and extremely lightweight and easy to clean and sanitise.

Sizing of the frames might differ slightly by 1-1,5cm depending on factory colours etc. Colours may also differ slightly from time to time depending on factory design.

WE HAVE 5 DIFFERENT EVA BAGS AVAILABLE –

  • Sling EVA Bag:        Approx Size 29cm X 19cm depth 9cm (Smallest Size)
  • Mood EVA Bag:      Approx Size 25cm X 17cm Depth 10cm
  • Divine EVA Bag:     Approx Size 35cm X 25cm Depth 10cm
  • Mini EVA Bag:         Approx Size 34cm X 29cm depth 12cm
  • Classic EVA Bag:   Approx Size 40cm X 33cm depth 14cm (Largest Size)

••We indicate as approx size as some sizing differ slightly and may differ 1 -2cm in certain cases•

 

CARING FOR YOUR HANDLES AND STRAPS AND GENERAL  INFORMATION:

We have different handles for our Nalah TM handbags.

Genuine South African handcrafted Leather –  in various colours and styles. They are extremely soft and very durable. Always ensure that you take care of your leather handles with a cleaner/ conditioning oil specifically for leather at your closest leather shop or outlet  for them to last the maximum time.

Genuine Leather handles are handmade items. Handmade goods tend to contain slight variations due to the maker being human- This can vary from stitching to other items.  Real leather is a natural product and animal skin and may contain and often display traces of the animal’s past life, such as brand marks / scratches / wrinkles / veins/ cracks/  threads / healed scars and different fibre density and colouring will remain visible after aniline dying process. We will ensure the best quality items are sent to you.

LEATHER CARE

  • The better you care for your leather product the better it will age.
  • We must remember that leather is in fact skin, it can dry, crack, stain & warp
  • Handle with clean hands
  • Avoid any liquids and exposure to direct sunlight or heat
  • Remove dirt with a clean soft damp or dry cloth and appropriate leather cleaner.
  • If your product gets to dry, massage a high-quality leather conditioner of your choice into the leather and use clean cloth to gently wipe off excess
  • Don’t use any household products and chemicals and alcohol Sanitizers.
  • Should your product get wet, allow it to dry slowly and naturally in an airy location.

OTHER HANDLES – FAUX / PU / Synthetic / Microfibre and Ropes:

PU / Faux / Microfibre/ Synthetic – This is artificial/ synthetic leather – These are more cost effective but are not as durable as our  genuine leather (Keep in mind when purchasing)

Keep your synthetic/faux  / microfibre handles from cracking and hardening:
Vinyl conditioner is typically recommended to soften faux leather, and should be applied with a soft cloth in small circular motions. Excess conditioner should then be removed with a clean cloth before leaving the product to dry.

Avoid alcohol Sanitizers on handles this will damage your handle.

ROPE HANDLES:

Rope handles are sturdy/hard handles- ~These may be removed and hand washed only. If they become very dirty then leave them in the soapy water overnight.

~Do not use a strong detergent or bleach.  Mild washing powder.

~Let it dry by itself.

~Do not tumble Dry

~Avoid alcohol sanitizers on handles

~Keep in mind when washing that they are not exposed to sharp edges as they may fray.

 

Genuine Leather Nalah TM Handles are made exclusively handcrafted for the Nalah TM Brand and are intended for use on only the Nalah TM Frame.

Mood Flap – Genuine Printed South African Leather- Please ensure you care for your leather with a leather cleaner / conditioning oil or cream specifically for genuine leather.

GENUINE LEATHER INFORMATION ON ALL NALAH PRODUCTS – HANDLES / MOOD FLAPS AND STRAPS:

INSERT INFORMATION – VERY IMPORTANT

TAKING CARE OF YOUR INSERT AND INFORMATION:

We receive our inserts from a few different suppliers and we have different types of fabric inserts from Canvas / PU Leather and softer twill fabrics.

Take Note: Some of the inserts are larger or smaller than others depending on which fabric is used or from different suppliers but they all fit into our NALAH TM handbags. They do however might be smaller or larger in certain cases to allow for larger/ smaller Frames.

***Take Note of the insert Fabrics: Some of the softer and very soft inserts may not sit as stiff into our frames as other inserts- Always check our Product information in the Shop area on each item before purchasing the inserts to avoid disappointment.

**Canvas Fabric – Manufactured in SA and fits perfectly in our Nalah Frames. Most Canvas fabrics are waterproof and sit stiff and upright in our frames.

*Soft Twill fabric – Manufactured in SA and fits perfectly into our Nalah frames. The Fabric is a little softer than canvas and may not stand up in Frame as other Inserts.

*Soft Printed cotton Canvas– Manufactured in SA and fits perfectly into our Nalah frames. The Fabric is lightweight and softer than canvas and may not sit stiff and upright in your frame.

*Very soft Velvet-Manufactured in SA and fits perfectly into our Nalah frames. This fabric is very soft and may not sit stiff and upright in your frame.

*Printed Velvet – Manufactured in SA and fits perfectly in our Nalah Frames. This fabric is stiff and thicker weighted fabric and will sit upright in your frame.

Some of the inserts are lined and others are waterproof, if you are unsure about anything please contact us. If you need any additional information regarding the insert Fabrics before you purchase the item.

All our inserts have inside pockets.

**Twill fabric** the insert fits into the bag a little larger to allow for slightly larger frames. Our frame sizes may differ by 1cm – 1,5cm depending on colours and batches. The sizing of the Inserts are made to try and fit all sizing Frames.

**PU Leather*the insert fits into the bag a little larger to allow for slightly larger frames. Our frame sizes may differ by 1cm – 1,5cm depending on colours and batches. The sizing of the Inserts are made to try and fit all sizing Frames.

WASHING INSERTS:

Canvas – Hand wash or you may wash on a delicate setting on your washing machine.

Soft Twill Cloth – Hand Wash or you may wash on a delicate setting on your washing machine.

PU Leather – Wipe clean only.

Do not overload your handbag with heavy objects this may stretch your insert and the insert holes and handles will not fit into your Insert and handle will slide out.

IMAGES ON WEBSITE OF ITEMS AND CREATE YOUR BAG- COLOUR VARIANCES

The images on the website are taken without any natural light in a Catalogue box. On Create your bag images pixels are compressed and may appear darker. The colours are edited closest to the natural colour of the frames etc. In certain cases the colours may appear brighter or darker depending on your mobile / PC screen. If unsure about a colour please contact us directly for any information. Some images are taken in direct sunlight and may appear lighter.

CREATE YOUR BAG AND SIZING AND GENERAL INFO ABOUT PRODUCTS

Create your bag is a feature on our website to see what the final result of your handbag will look like. If you need any information about handles / inserts and Sizing –

IMPORTANT NOTICE

**Insert/ Frame/ Handle  information is available on the “Shop” Tab as well and this relates to Fabrics / Sizing and in some cases colours of zips etc. Check these before you place your order on Create your bag to ensure that you have selected correct items. Colours may seem darker on the create your bag function- Pixels are compressed and may seem darker.

Keep in mind – stock is not updated immediately when purchased on create your bag, This is done manually on a daily basis.

Discounted /On Sale Items/ Black Friday

Discounted / On Sale items and Black Friday Sale items are not eligible for refunds / returns or exchanges unless the items are faulty or defective. Always check on description on our shop for all relevant information regarding your products.

EFT Payments and Sale/ Discounted/ Black Friday Items: Immediate payments to be made to reserve your items. Sale Items are last of a product and limited stock. Payment to be made within 4 Hours– No payment will result in order being cancelled.

 

Gift Cards

Nalah Gift Cards on our website are only to be redeemed at Nalah Head office on our website.  Vouchers are valid for 6 months only.

A unique Code will be emailed once payment is made. You can enter the unique code upon checkout.

After expiry date the Unique Code will not be valid on our Website.

Courier fees will be charged when gift card recipient orders products from our website.

Shipping Option at checkout: Choose shipping if you would like to include shipping for your gift card recipient. Once the gift card is used (eg: Total R1299 Gift Card purchased includes Shipping- The R99 for shipping will not reflect as a available amount – The website will only show R1200 purchase and Free Shipping which will include your R99 Shipping amount that you paid) In total the R1299 would have been taken for the purchase R1200 for the handbag and R99 shipping fee.

No shipping (Choose at checkout -Collection in Polokwane) then there will be zero Shipping for your total purchase however- Your recipient will have to pay the shipping costs upon order of their handbag/ accessories.

If items are ordered and the balance is higher than the Gift Card value – We will require payment upon order.

If value of ordered items are lower than the items ordered we will keep the balance as a available credit on your voucher to be used again. Credit amount will be emailed to you after your initial purchase.

Unique Gift Card number is only valid once on our website.

Gift Cards are not refundable for cash or exchanged for cash.

Stock is subject to availability and refunds will not apply if stock is not available.

All vouchers purchased from any of our stockists or agents can not be redeemed at Nalah head Office (Those vouchers are only valid at the stockist or agent and will also have an expiry date) These vouchers are completely independent from Nalah head Office. Please refer to the stockist or agent involved for any enquiries the expiry dates may vary between agents/stockists and Head Office)

Removing handles or Insert from frame:

Turn the plastic caps anti clockwise to loosen the caps, to put them back you can turn them clockwise. Ensure you turn them tight to ensure your handles do not come undone whilst using your nalah bag.
