✨ Thank You for Choosing a Nalah Handbag ✨

Welcome to the Nalah family 💛

To protect the beauty and longevity of your handbag, please review our Product Care Guidelines, available on our website and in each product description.

About Our Leather

All Nalah handbags are made from full-grain, natural leather. As this leather is not surface-coated, natural variations in tone, texture, and markings are normal and part of its unique character. Over time, your bag will develop a natural patina, which is a hallmark of genuine leather — not a defect. Your Leather will fade within time and with proper care your bag will remain beautiful for a long time.

Important Care Information (Recommended and items to Avoid)

  • Begin your leather care routine as soon as you receive your bag
  • Do not wait until your bag is dry and faded, prevention is key.
  • Only Nalah-approved leather conditioners may be used – No other 3rd Party Cleaning or polishing is recommended.
  • General or third-party products may damage untreated leather or will damage the surface of your leather.
  • We recommend selecting the 25ml Nalah Leather Care upon checkout to ensure you start caring for your leather immediately.

Damage caused by improper care or non-approved products may not be covered under warranty, in line with our Terms & Conditions and the CPA

Each bag includes a Quick Care Tag, but we strongly recommend reviewing the full care instructions on our website for best results.

With proper care, your Nalah handbag will age beautifully and remain a timeless companion for years to come ✨

Nalah Care Guides and Information

1️⃣ Full-Grain Leather Care – Quick Guide

✔ What To Do

  • Clean weekly from first use: gently brush off dust and wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
  • If leather becomes wet, pat dry with a soft cloth and allow to air dry naturally for at least 24 hours, away from heat or sunlight.
  • Apply Nalah Leather Hide Food immediately upon receipt and regularly thereafter to nourish, soften, and blend natural markings.
  • Store your handbag in a breathable fabric dust bag to allow airflow.
  • Handle with care and place only on clean, dry surfaces.
  • Allow the leather to age naturally, embracing creases, veins, tonal variations, and patina.
  • Expect natural darkening in high-contact areas due to moisture, oils, and friction.
  • Maintain regular conditioning to reduce dryness, porosity, and colour transfer.

✖ What To Avoid

  • Do not use soaps, detergents, alcohol, or harsh cleaning agents — these strip natural oils and permanently damage leather.
  • Do not rub or scrub wet leather.
  • Do not leave leather unconditioned — dryness and cracking may occur and are not repairable.
  • Do not store in plastic bags or airtight containers, as moisture retention causes damage.
  • Avoid contact with liquids, perfumes, cosmetics, hand creams, oils, ink, or pens.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat sources, which may cause fading and drying.
  • Do not overload, drag, or scrape your handbag against abrasive surfaces.
  • Avoid masking leather scent with sprays or unapproved products.
  • Avoid dark or new clothing (especially denim) that may transfer dye.
  • Avoid rough walls, embellished jewellery, or sharp objects that may scratch the leather.

Important: Leather care improves suppleness and appearance but cannot restore leather damaged by liquids, sun exposure, or deep scratches.

2️⃣ Liquids & Stains Care Guide

✔ What To Do

Water

  • Blot immediately with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Allow to air dry naturally for at least 24 hours, away from heat or sunlight.
  • Once dry, apply Nalah Leather Hide Food to restore oils.

Wine, Coffee, Juice & Other Liquids

  • Blot immediately with a soft cloth.
  • Allow to dry naturally, then condition to help even out appearance.

Oils (hand creams, lotions, skin oils, cooking oils)

  • Blot excess oil immediately.
  • Once dry, apply a small amount of approved conditioner to nourish and blend.

Ink

  • Lightly blot fresh marks without spreading.
  • Older or deeper ink stains cannot be fully removed.

After any spill has dried, apply Nalah Leather Hide Food evenly over the affected area (or panel) to maintain suppleness.

✖ What To Avoid

  • Do not rub, scrub, or apply heat.
  • Do not use water on oil stains.
  • Do not use soaps, alcohol, chemicals, or cleaning sprays.
  • Do not attempt aggressive stain removal methods.
  • Avoid placing handbags on dirty, oily, or polished surfaces.

Note: Full-grain leather is porous. Certain stains (ink, oil, wine) may not be fully removable. Prevention through regular conditioning is essential.

3️⃣ Scratches Care Guide

✔ What To Do

  • For light scratches, gently rub with clean fingers — natural skin oils may help blend marks.
  • Apply Nalah Leather Hide Food to soften leather and reduce the visibility of minor scratches.
  • Buff gently after conditioning.
  • Condition regularly to maintain softness and resilience.
  • Store safely when not in use.

✖ What To Avoid

  • Do not scrub or use harsh products.
  • Do not apply water, alcohol, detergents, heat, or sunlight to scratches.
  • Avoid dragging or rubbing against rough surfaces.
  • Avoid contact with sharp objects, metal edges, or heavy jewellery.

Note: Minor scratches are a natural feature of full-grain leather and often soften with time and care.
